We thought it was about time for us to talk and thrown in some tips on how to make in this reseller business. We know that people under estimate this business, thinking that everybody and their mother is selling either domain names or web hosting.
And that statement may be true as you see so, many a year trying to do this business then 6 to 12 months later down the road there out of the business. They thought it would be easy, and had a high expectation on making a lot of money, or they are thinking the competition is to high, and it’s impossible to make any money.
Yes, the competition is high. However, this only means their money to be made in the business. The reason why UsanaCar Hosting has been online so long as resellers, we don’t compete. We sell the brand, product and service.
Look, most of the time it’s not about the price of the product, it’s the person and quality of service behind the product. At the end of the day, all the customer wants is to have a reliable product with affordable price that fix the solution they’re looking for at the time.
What you need to know,.. even though we’re in a recession everyone person has a different level of budget. This means, if you have a product that you had listed at $19.99, then, at another place has it the price at $25.99 for the same product. Some people would think $25.99 is okay price, and some people may think $19.99 is not affordable. It really depends on the individuals needs and wants at particular time.
You be amazed if you just add a little more value point to the product, it will help your conversion rate. However, that is another story that we may touch down the road.
If you have a mindset that you’re going to make a lot of money in this business. And try to compete with the big boys you will set yourself up for frustration, and then quit. The way we see it,.. if you can’t beat them, join them. It’s still a lot of money to be made in this business even though you seeing everybody doing it.
To make in this business you have to have a game plan, and you have set yourself apart from the rest. At the same time, still keep your eye on the competition ( Just don’t compete ). Get to know how they do business and the trends on how they conduct business. As you see how they do business added some of their technics to your business but don’t’ compete. .
Just keep this in mind. At the end of the day, you have a product that is already proven to sell. It’s your job to set yourself apart so people will purchase the product from your brand and services. Have a game plan that will last about 12 to 24 months and then tell the world you’re ready for business.
